Kalabria Residence

Finikaria, Limassol

A 1000m² private residence located within the forested area in Finikaria, Limassol. The client’s brief required a spread out sanctuary sensitively placed within its natural environment, aiming to give the impression that the residence was always in that location.

The various areas of accommodation are separately and individually expressed externally to allow for an apparent development of the structure over time. The main building connects to the various components via arcaded cloisters and open air enclosed and semi-enclosed courtyards.

Al fresco living is encouraged with shaded areas, pavilions and terraces overlooking the main pool, located in a small ‘valley’ with view of the two bridges crossing the river that runs through the site.
