The Sanctuary Spa is a hidden retreat nestled within the semi-basement of the Napa Plaza Hotel. Conceived as a “discovered” experience, the spa is designed to detach visitors from the rhythms and realities of everyday life, immersing them instead in an atmosphere of calm, mystery, and sensory escape.   A refined palette of natural materials defines the interior character. Green and earthy brown marbles sourced from Greece are combined with eucalyptus timber panelling and oxidised steel privacy screens, creating a layered ambience of warmth, intimacy, and quiet sophistication. Concealed lighting has been carefully integrated throughout the spaces, with gradual transitions across the light spectrum enhancing the spatial experience and reinforcing a moody, deeply relaxing environment.   The vaulted treatment rooms reinterpret Byzantine architectural elements in a contemporary manner. Soft earthy tones of marble and timber are complemented by specially treated textured paint finishes, producing spaces that feel both timeless and modern. The overall composition evokes serenity and tactile richness, offering guests an immersive sanctuary dedicated to restoration and escape.
