Limassol

Located in the Agios Athanasios municipality of Limassol, on a hillside site with a panoramic view of the city, this 300m² private residence has been designed specifically to enjoy that view in full. All internal spaces are oriented to the south, with large glazed panels featuring the fewest possible divisions, and extensive terraces on ground and 1st floor. Solar gain is to be combatted with the extended planes of the roof and 1st floor terrace, plus electrically controlled moving louvres, descending the façade according to the movement of the sun.

Framing the glass façade are π-shaped elements, constructed with concrete molded by horizontal timber slats, with recessed contrasting timber and black aluminium panels emphasizing the entrance to the east. Dark-gray aluminium + timber handrail balustrades complete the modern high-tech look.
