Santa Barbara Hills Hotel
Pafos
A five star hotel within a large scale residential and hospitality development in Paphos, built at a prominent position on the highest level of the site. The hotel comprises of 160 suites; conference and ballroom facilities, including a banquet/conference hall at a prominent high-position; multiple swimming pools, including one ground floor roomside pool plus an indoor pool accompanied by gym, sauna and massage facilities; bars and restaurants, one of each at featured prime view locations.
Santa Barbara Hotel is designed to emerge from the hill on top of which is situated, in a fashion similar to monasteries around the mountain tops of Greece and Cyprus, organically blending via its materiality with the hill as well as translate their purity with horizontal white straight planes across the structure. This design concept offers 360o panoramic views of the surrounding area, especially the sea located southwest. Furthermore, suites, balconies, and a themed bar and restaurant grow out of the hill’s sides over its cliffs to emphasize location and height.
