‘This new jetty and centre piece’ Yacht Club building is at the very heart of the refurbishment and extension of Larnaka Marina, which forms phase one of the Larnaka Port and Marina masterplan. The marina will acommodate one thousand vessels and provide new state-of-the-art facilities.

Providing the central management building for the marina, the Yacht Club has a rooftop control tower and wrap around observation terrace, as well as a dining and entertainment space on the first floor and a large infinity pool terrace overlooking the marina. The building is designed as a ‘floating’ open ended tube, formally and physically linking the land from one end to the sea horizon at the other, similar to a telescope. It ‘floats’ over the marina and its orientation allows the prevailing westerly wind to flow through the ‘tube’, naturally cooling the interior.
